The Washburn Rural dance team reacts to learning it had captured the Class 6A state championship at Friday's Gameday Showcase at Stormont Vail Events Center.
TOPEKA, Kan. - Back in-person after a virtual event last year due to COVID-19, the 2nd annual Gameday Dance Showcase brought the excitement to Stormont Vail Events Center. Washburn Rural claimed the 6A title while Mill Valley won 5-4A and Norton secured the 3-1A first-place trophy. Saturday, the 5th annual Gameday Cheer Showcase will take center stage.
