No. 1s hold firm in final KBCA rankings

Sterling's girls remained undefeated and No. 1 in Class 2A after surviving a battle with Berean Academy last week.
For the first time all season, there are no changes in the No. 1 teams in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association's rankings.

For the KBCA's final poll, not much really changed at all. There was some movement in nearly every class below the No. 1 team, but the top spots reamined the same.

In boys, Free State (6A), Kapaun Mt. Carmel (5A), Eudora (4A), Cheney (3A), Hillsboro (2A), Olpe (1A Division I) and Hanover (1A Division II) held their No. 1 spots. In girls, Olathe North (6A), Salina Central (5A), Wellington (4A), Silver Lake (3A), Sterling (2A), Hodgeman County (1A Division I) and Central Plains (1A Division II) remained No. 1.

Cheney is the only boys' No. 1 that is undefeated, currently 19-0 going into Tuesday's game. Olathe North (18-0), Salina Central (18-0), Wellington (18-0), Sterling (19-0) and Hodgeman County (19-0) are unbeaten as girls' No. 1s.
