The Kansas Softball Coaches Association has announced its 2025 All-State teams.
The organization does not name players, pitchers or coaches of the year for each class but the five state champions were well-represented on the first teams in their respective classes.
Two-time reigning Class 3A champion Frontenac had the most first-team selections of any team in any class with five. Senior Avery Johnson was picked at pitcher, senior Maddie Call was named at catch, seniors Mady Logiudici and Alana Sullivan were both chosen in the outfield and sophomore Gracen McLaren was an infield pick.
Class 3A runner-up Silver Lake was right behind Frontenac with four first-team picks – senior pitcher Kendra Cook, senior infielders Kira Lowery and Taylor Zordel and junior outfielder Kailyn Hanni.
Class 6A champion Olathe West had four first-team selections with senior Maliyah Warren chosen on the infield, senior Brevyn Kellepouris selected at utility/designated player, junior Emma Heinemann picked in the outfield and sophomore Celise Kellepouris named at pitcher.
Undefeated Class 4A champion McPherson had a trio of first-team All-4A selections with senior Addison Chapman chosen at pitcher, senior Haely Hagemann chosen at catcher and sophomore Pera Bauer picked in the outfield. The Bullpups also had a second-teamer and an honorable mention pick.
Class 4A runner-up Eudora had the most first-team selections in 4A with four – senior pitcher Samanatha Claire, senior catcher Reese Pattison, senior infielder Katie Courter and senior outfielder Lexi Born.
In Class 2A, first-time state champion Oskaloosa came up with four first team picks as junior Parris Marsh was picked at catcher, junior Lydia Turner was picked on the infield, sophomore Lily Pullen was named at pitcher and sophomore Kierstyn Mitchell was chosen in the outfield.
Class 5A champion St. Thomas Aquinas had a pair of first-team picks in senior outfielder Shalynn Elmore and sophomore infielder Addison Sabers. The Saints also had two second-teamers.
