All-State/All-Class selection process: Ballots are sent to every coach in the state where they are asked to nominate players from their own team as well as players from other teams for consideration for All-State and All-Class honors. Those ballots are processed and votes are tabulated for each nomination in every classification. All-league teams and input from other experts across the state are also used as reference when making final selections for the honors.

Players who earn first-team honors are not listed as an honorable mention selection at a secondary position except for special team selections (kicker, punter, returner).
