Little River’s Arika Feldman was the lone repeat player of the year selection on the Kansas Volleyball Association All-State teams, earning the honor in Class 1A Division I after helping the Redskins secure a fourth straight state title. 

Feldman, a senior middle hitter/setter, was joined on the first team by three teammates – seniors Havana Olander and Adelynne Strecker, and junior Saelyn Raleigh. Little River coach Kim Rolfs was named Class 1A Division I coach of the year for the fourth straight year. 

Five of the seven player of the year honorees were from state championship teams. 

In Class 6A, Blue Valley West’s Peyton Kubik was named player of the year after helping lead the Jaguars to the title. West’s Jessica Horstick was coach of the year. 

St. Thomas Aquinas’ Grace Martin earned player of the year honors in 5A after the Saints repeated as state champs. Aquinas’ Sarah Ikenberry was coach of the year. 

Class 4A player of the year went to Hayden Grimes, who led Andale to a state championship. Indians’ coach Scott Johnson was coach of the year.

Ellinwood, the state’s lone unbeaten team in 2025, swept the 2A honors. Regan Widener was named player of the year and Greg Maxwell coach of the year after the Eagles captured their first state championship. 

Hoisington’s Sofia Simic was named 3A player of the year. Silver Lake’s Sarah Johnson was coach of the year after guiding the Eagles to a state title. 

Linn, state runner-up to Hanover, swept the 1A Division II honors with Gretchen Bott named player of the year and Amy Bott coach of the year.
